The short version

• I collect what you type into the contact form and the Site Check. I use it to answer you and to do the work you asked about.
• I count visits to this site with tools that don’t use cookies.
• I don’t run ads. I don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.
• You can ask me to delete what I have about you. Write to hello@loomisbuilds.com.

Who runs this site

Loomis Builds is a one-person studio near Milwaukee, Wisconsin, run by Jason Loomis. On this page, “I” and “me” mean Jason Loomis and Loomis Builds. You can reach me at hello@loomisbuilds.com.

The contact form

When you send the contact form, I collect what you enter:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your business name and website address
• What you need, your budget and your timeline
• Your message

Here is what happens to it:

• It is saved in a database run by Supabase, on servers in the United States.
• It is emailed to me through Resend, an email delivery service. Resend also sends you a short email to confirm your message arrived.
• If the link that brought you here carried a campaign tag (for example, one that shows you came from a social media post), that tag is saved with your message.

I use this information to reply to you, to give you a price or a plan, and to keep a record of what we talked about.

The Site Check

When you run a Site Check:

• The web address you enter is sent to Google’s PageSpeed Insights, because Google’s test is what produces the scores. Google loads that page to test it.
• I save the web address, the scores and the list of fixes.
• Your email is optional. If you add it, I email you the report through Resend and save your email address with your results, so I can follow up with you about them.

Analytics

I want to know which pages people read, without following anyone around. I use two tools, and neither one puts a cookie on your device.

• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views. Cloudflare says it does not use cookies or other storage on your device to do this, and does not fingerprint visitors.
• PostHog shows me how people use the site, such as how many people who run a Site Check go on to send a message. It runs in cookieless mode, so it stores nothing in your browser. It counts visitors with a scrambled code that is made on PostHog’s servers and changes every day.

I don’t use advertising trackers or social media tracking tools.

Hosting and spam protection

• Cloudflare hosts this site. Like any web host, it sees your IP address and basic details about your browser when you load a page. That is how a page gets to you.
• Cloudflare Turnstile protects the forms from spam. To tell a person from a bot, it looks at technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address. Cloudflare says the purpose is not to identify, profile or target anyone. Turnstile does not read what you type into a form.

Cookies

I don’t use advertising cookies, and the analytics on this site work without cookies. Cloudflare may set a security cookie when it needs to tell a person from a bot.

Who else handles your information

I share your information only with the services that make this site work:

• Cloudflare: hosting, spam protection and page-view counts
• Supabase: the database, in the United States
• Resend: sending email
• Google: testing the web address you enter in the Site Check
• PostHog: cookieless analytics

Each one handles information under its own privacy policy. I don’t give your information to anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long I keep it

I keep contact messages and Site Check results so I can answer you and follow up. You can ask me to delete yours at any time.

You can ask me to:

• Show you what I have about you
• Correct it
• Delete it
