Pages that say what you do and where
Clear titles and descriptions on every page. Google uses them to build what people see in a search result.
A site Google can read
A secure address, descriptions on your photos, and the behind-the-scenes details that tell Google your name, address and hours.
Faster pages on phones
Google looks at the phone version of your site. I find what's slowing yours down and fix it.
Straight talk
No one can promise you a ranking, and I won't. You'll know what I changed and why.

Who it’s for
You’re good at what you do, and people nearby are searching for it. But when you look yourself up on Google, you’re hard to find. Or you show up, and the listing says so little that nobody taps it.
This work is for local businesses that want their website to pull its weight in search.
What I can and can’t promise
I can’t promise you a ranking. Google says it plainly: “No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.” Be careful with anyone who tells you different.
What I can do is fix the things that hold a site back.
What I work on
- Page titles and descriptions. Every page should say plainly what you do and where you do it. “Home” tells a customer nothing.
- Speed on phones. Google looks at the phone version of your site. I find what’s slowing yours down and fix it.
- The basics Google needs. A secure (https) address, descriptions on your photos, and the behind-the-scenes details that tell Google your name, address and hours.
- A page for each thing people look for. A practice with two offices gets a page for each town. A shop with different kinds of buyers gets a page for each one. Only where there’s something real to say.
- Answers to real questions. For my own app, Danceify, I built a page for each of its 16 dance styles and wrote six how-to guides on things people search for, like how to make a dance video from a photo.
Your spot on Google Maps is a separate thing. Those listings are Google Business Profiles, and they have their own checklist. I wrote it up in Why your business doesn’t show up on Google.
How the work goes
- We talk, and I look. I run the free Site Check on your site. It gives four scores from Google’s own test and the top fixes in plain English. Then you tell me what you sell and who you want to reach.
- You see the plan. I show you what I’d change and why, in plain words. If the fix means new pages or a rebuilt site, you get a private link to click through first.
- The changes go live. Some problems can be fixed on the site you have. Others come from how the site was built. I’ll tell you which is which.
- We give it time. Google’s own guide says some changes “might take effect in a few hours, others could take several months.”
After launch
Search isn’t a one-time job. Hours change. You add a service or drop one. Your website has to keep up, and so does your Google Business Profile. Google says businesses with complete and accurate info are more likely to show up in local search results.
With a care plan, you tell me what changed and I update the site. When your hours change, update your Google Business Profile too, so the two always match.

Common questions
What does SEO work actually include?
Google describes SEO as helping search engines understand your content and helping people find your site. For a local business, I start with the basics the free Site Check looks at:
- Page titles and descriptions
- Speed on phones
- A secure (https) address
- Descriptions on your photos
- The behind-the-scenes details that tell Google your name, address and hours
The goal is a site where every page says plainly what you do and where you do it.
How long does SEO take to work?
It varies, and anyone who gives you an exact date is guessing. Google’s own guide says some changes take effect in a few hours and others can take several months. It suggests waiting a few weeks before you judge whether a change helped. I can’t promise you a ranking, and neither can anyone else.
Why doesn't my business show up on Google Maps?
The listings on the map are Google Business Profiles, which are separate from your website. So first check that you have a profile, that you’ve claimed it, and that it’s verified. After that, Google says local results come down mainly to three things:
- How well your profile matches the search
- How far you are from the person searching
- How well known your business is
Complete, accurate info and real customer reviews both help.
Do I need a new website to do better on Google?
Not always. Some problems can be fixed on the site you have, like a vague page title or a setting that hides the site from Google. Others come from how the site was built, like pages that load slowly on phones. The free Site Check is a quick way to see what’s wrong.
