Web design in Menomonee Falls, WI

Burton & Mayer, on Main Street

Burton & Mayer is a commercial printer at N88 W13901 Main Street in Menomonee Falls. The shop has been printing since 1938. It’s family-owned, now in its fourth generation, and the production staff are union members. Printing, packaging and mailing all happen in one 42,600 square foot building.

I work on the Burton & Mayer website.

A shop like this has very different customers. A union local that needs the union label on a newsletter. A non-profit sending out a donor appeal. A business that needs custom boxes for a product launch. Each one searches Google in a different way.

Here’s how the site speaks to each of them:

• The first line says what and where. The home page headline reads “Commercial Printing in Menomonee Falls, Serving Milwaukee Since 1938.”
• Each kind of buyer has a page. Union printing, non-profit printing, custom packaging and direct mail each get their own.
• Questions get answered before the call. Is there a minimum order? Can you match my Pantone color? Do you handle the mailing? The service pages answer them.
• Every page ends with one next step. Get a Quote.

What I can do for a business in Menomonee Falls

Most businesses serve more than one kind of customer, and each one comes looking for something different. I build websites that say what you do and where in the first line, with a page for each kind of customer you serve.

I also build online stores and iPhone apps, do local SEO work, and look after sites after launch with a care plan.

Menomonee Falls is in Waukesha County, part of my home base, so I can sit down with you in person.
